Always Expect the Good

15 Jul 2007

Yesterday Michael Joseph and Myself spent the day in Merritt Island at Rev. Virgils home. It was really wonderful and I feel extremely blessed to have enjoyed the day with such a magnificent group of like minds.I have often wondered what it was like for Jesus to always have his disciples around where they could just hang out and share their ideas about life with God as the center of it all.

Just imagine that for a moment! Hanging out with Jesus, one of the greatest metaphysicians who daily demonstrated these principles. Chilling out with a master teacher all the time, asking questions and seeing amazing demonstrations.

Well I absolutely know that I spent my Saturday in the Presence of great minds and I am deeply moved and grateful for the time we spent together, the sharing of ideas and this wonderful philosophy that connects us all by this Divine thread.

Thank you Michael for a magical day!

My message today is Always Expect the Good!
Yesterday was truly a demonstration of todays message. From the outset I didn't know what to expect so Michael and I agreed that “the good” was what we looked forward to.
We ended up connecting with and meeting some phenomenal people. Sharing ideas and information that inspired, encouraged, motivated and is sure to take us to new dimensions in our journey.

EH says: Dare to speak, and to know that what you speak is the law unto the thing spoken regardless of what condition exist. One alone in consciousness with the Infinite -GOD- constitutes a complete majority...Knowing this...

....Always expect the good, have enthusiasm and above all have a consciousness of love and a radiant feeling flowing through your consciousness at all times.

Imagine what your life and the lives of those around you would be like if everyone Always expected the good in everything and everyone.

You have a fortune to share and I don't just mean riches. I mean you have a fortune of good thoughts, feelings and ideas to express and share with the world.

I was in a workshop and I remember one of the participants going to the microphone and telling everyone present that he felt we were robbing him of his good by holding in our talents and testimonies and not sharing them with the world. He encouraged everyone “not to die with the music inside them”, but to share their personal song with the world. He wanted to hear our music. The music of our souls, that melody that only we can bring.

Dr. Joseph Murphy says:You have the key to the most wonderful and marvelous power in the world- the power of the Infinite – God – within you.

The bible says ...Behold, the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21)
Seek first the knowledge and awareness of this inner Presence and Power, and all things that you want shall be added unto you...
By always expecting the good, you intentionally set the tone and the space for the good to appear.

By always expecting the good, you make room for the good to show up.
By always expecting the good, you are declaring to the universe that you are in the place of allowing it in to your experience; you are expecting to experience it and therefore you shall do exactly that.
EH says: we should expect the best.
Whether you are expecting to attract that perfect partner, that perfect job, more love, more peace, more joy or more prosperity.

When you begin with a feeling of expectancy, you are basically opening yourself to receive. Expectancy is the state of one who looks forward to something. Anticipation!

The Bible says: Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24)

And Jesus said unto him, if thou can believe, all things are possible to him that believeth ( Mark 9:23)

Dr. Joseph Murphy states that: To believe is to accept something as true. If someone suggests to you that you were born to succeed, to become victorious over any of life's seeming problems, and you accept this completely without any mental reservation, apparent miracles will happen in your life.

Always Expect the GOOD!
Emma Curtis Hopkins in her book Mental Practice says:

The Good I am seeking is my God, My God is my life
The Good I am seeking is my health, My God is my health
The Good I am seeking is my strength, My God is my strength
The Good I am seeking is my support, My God is my support.
The Good I am seeking is my defense, My God is my defense
Life is God
Truth is God
Love is God
Substance is God

When you are always expecting your good you are really expecting God in all things.
I invite you today not only to expect your good, but to share your good.

Share the gift of love and goodwill with others;
Share a smile and a cheerful greeting,
Give compliments and appreciation,
Share your creative ideas
Share the love of God with all those around you.

When you see; acknowledge the intelligence and the wisdom of God in others. Call it forth knowing what you claim will be resurrected in their lives.
Share your new idea with the world, perhaps a sonata, an invention, a play, a book or a creative expansive idea in your business or profession which will bless yourself and others.

You have a chance of a lifetime! Begin now to tap the infinite reservoir within you and you will find yourself moving upward, onward, inward and God ward.

ALWAYS EXPECT THE GOOD!

Always expect that God the Good is supporting and backing you every step of the way and that this power, this presence desires for you to have the best of every good thing.

Rev. Michael Beckwith encourages us: To always be grateful for what we have and yet maintain a state of expecting something greater.
When we live and move and have our being from a place of expecting our highest and greatest good in everything, we literally shine. We appear more radiant.
When you hold this expectancy in your heart for others it has awesome consequences. When you can lovingly desire good for someone else, you are literally opening up a treasure trove of good for both of you.

EH says: Let us learn to see as God must, with a Perfect Vision. Let us seek the good and the true and believe in them with our whole heart...Let us daily say to ourselves: Perfect God within me, Perfect Life within me which is God, come forth into expression through me as that which I am; lead me ever into the paths of perfection and cause me to see only the Good.

By this practice, the soul will become illumined and will acquaint itself with God and be at peace.

Always expect the good, remembering that God is good and being one with God; GOOD is our divine make up and birthright.
Have a blessed and wonderful day!

NAMASTE!
