And let us get present to the right here and right now.

Prepare your mind, body and spirit to receive this message I have to share with you

My message is "IMAGINE!"

You might be thinking IMAGINE WHAT?

My response to that is...
Imagine what it is you want your life to be about.
Imagine the good stuff.
Imagine what you want this world we live in to be like
Imagine whatever it is that is in alignment with the GOOD THAT GOD IS.

Jean Houston says in the foreword of the SCIENCE OF MIND TEXT:

“The core of each human being is as Ernest Holmes puts it, the “Original Creative Genius of the Universe....Consciously or unconsciously we direct the flow of Universal mind into form...(in other words)...the cosmic engine is started but man guides it in his or her own life. This grants us tremendous power and with it the innate responsibility to make or break our world through the extraordinary working power of our minds.”

We are at the wheel, we are in control of our destination the same way we control our vehicle on the highway. We can use our car irresponsibly and hurt ourselves or others or we can use it responsibly and it will get us where we want to go.

Roy Davis says “Creativity is the ability to manifest or produce a thing, event , or circumstance. Imagination is the innate spiritual power we have to form a mental picture or concept of something which does not yet exist or is not presently perceived.

It says in Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen

Well I need to share with you this morning about Imagination and Imagining! And the best way for me to do that I feel in my heart is to share with you this morning an example from my own life.

You see Rev. Michael Beckwith used to say without the “test” there can be no “testimony”
(now for those of you who grew up as I did in traditional church a “test” was a challenge or a seeming obstacle or difficulty for one to surmount or overcome.)

I want to tell you this morning don't be discouraged if you have or are currently experiencing a difficulty because “this too shall pass”

So don't worry if life presents you with a “test”. For all you know maybe one day you sharing about your test and how you overcame it will be just what someone else needs to hear to get through something they might be going through.

Now hear me when I tell you that when I was preparing to share this talk with you about IMAGINE this morning, believe me it was not with the intention of sharing what is coming. However, SPIRIT said something different and I said okay.

I was looking through one of my bibles to share a quote with you this morning. Now you have to know that I keep several bibles in my home for quick reference and for daily reflection however, the passage I was looking for was from what I believed to be a different version of the bible than i was using at that moment. As I reached for another bible I had on a book shelf in my office, i opened the pages and began to flip when this fell out.

You see this is a picture I tore out of a magazine. This is a picture of a baby. This is a picture of a baby boy to be exact and this picture is at least 6 years old if not more.

The reason I share this with you this morning is because in 1995 my husband Mark and I were expecting a baby boy and about 6 months into my pregnancy I went into labor and 5 hours after his birth our son, Mark Anthony Jr, died.

But you see I was in the early stages of my practitioner studies in religious science and I knew as I know now that God doesn't make mistakes and that God is in all things so I trusted.

And then in 1998 I got pregnant again and wow it was a boy. This time at the doctors suggestion I even had my cervix sewn shut so that the baby would not “fall out” prematurely. However on of all nights “Thanksgiving” my water broke and my cervix began to tear open.

The doctors did what they could and after much labor Benjamin Chabrol was born and pronounced dead at birth.

Well now I was a licensed practitioner and I will not stand here and tell you I wasn't sad or even angry and disappointed at times, because I was.

And although I still held on to the hope that one day I would have a child of my own, time and medical standards said it was unlikely to happen.

But I know a God, I know a Presence, I know a Power and I want you to know that this Presence, this Power, this God is available to all of us in this room and beyond and so in the stillness of my heart and in the quiet times alone with God, I kept hoping for a child of my own; a son.

And one day while in the waiting room of a doctors office while at a routine check up I came across this picture of this happy, beautiful baby boy and I tore this picture out of that magazine and I put it in my bible for safe keeping.

Occasionally I took it out and I looked at it. And I dreamed. I dreamed of what that baby smelled like, (I even went out and bought johnsons baby powder so I could get that baby smell.)

I dreamed of what he felt like,

I imagined hearing his giggle

I even imagined the weight of him in my arms.

I dared to Imagine, I dared to dream

And I dare you to do the same because some years later.

8 years ago on November 2, 2002
11 weeks 2 days premature, weighing only 3lbs 4 ozs
I had my own version of that little boy.

So when I tell you and i quote that “with God all things are possible” it is because I have dared to dream the seeming impossible and have seen that it can happen!

And if it can happen for me or for anyone you'd better be celebrating because that is only a testament that it can happen for you too!

It is not to say that you will want what I want, not a covetous or envious wanting!

It is a pure desire for your own good! Your own version of whatever it is! It is a deep knowing that there is enough for everyone to have the desires of their heart and that “it is Gods pleasure to see that we have those desires!

In How to Change your Life by Ernest Holmes he says: “When we get a glimpse of the true nature of Mind-the God Power withing us and use It, the results are truly amazing. Physically, financially, socially, intellectually and spiritually it pays us to learn about and to use the principles of creative thinking.”

So when you hear me say IMAGINE!

Know that it is my desire to invoke, provoke and evoke your imaging abilities.

It is my desire to invoke which means to Call for earnestly, to solicit or to conjure

It is my desire to provoke which means to Incite to action

It is my desire to evoke which means to Arouse, Excite, Inspire, Stimulate and move
Know that when I say IMAGINE it is because I know that there is within you a creative power that is waiting for you to use it

I am also aware that there is a deep desire in you to have, to be, to create, to manifest something and I want with all my heart for you to have it.

I want to encourage you to step beyond your current way of living and dare to dream, then I want you to go beyond the dreaming of the thing to the living of it. NAMASTE!
